In the historic centre of Rochester in Kent, yards from the castle and the cathedral, a new storey was added to this detached house. Walls and roof to be clad in zinc. To allow ventilation under the zinc above a valley gutter that could not be sunk into the roof, we installed these zinc hoods over a series of air inlets.
